Valley of Flowers is a lively and breathtaking national stop resting in West Himalayas. Settled in Uttarakhand, this appealing spot is acclaimed for its beguiling glades of high blossoms. Invested with a different scope of endemic verdure, it is pleasant in its magnificence. This lavish district is likewise home to some uncommon and jeopardized creature species. You may spot creatures like Asiatic dark deer, snow panther, musk deer, red fox, cocoa bear and blue sheep. High in the elevated Himalayas of the Garhwal district sprawls this captivating valley. Legends trust it to be the place from where Hanuman had gathered the Sanjeevani buti for curing Lakshmana. This place has botanical fields, running streams and excellent setting of the mountains.
VALLEY OF FLOWERS IS LOCATED 300 KMS NORTH OF RISHIKESH, NEAR BADRINATH
It’s a center zone of Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve. A monster spread of 87.5 sq kms and bunch high blooms makes this place a bright heaven. Roosted at an elevation of 3658 mts above ocean level, Bhyundar Valley is the home to this dreamlike place. Verifiably, the magnificence of the place was obscure to world until in 1931, three British mountain dwellers came here. They lost their direction and happened to find this appealing valley and named it Valley of Flowers. Later in the year 1939, Joan Margaret Legge, a botanist touched base here to study blooms. She was deputed by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Krew however she lost her life by slipping from the rough territory. Her sister later came here and raised a dedication close to the spot.

Valley of flowers is located in Chamoli district in the state of Uttarakhand India. It takes minimum 3 days to reach Valley of flowers from Haridwar. The last motor-able point is Govindghat.It is around 500 km from New Delhi and 300 km from Haridwar.
